Darwin Ortiz's "Beyond Sleight of Hand" is one of my favourite sandwich routines. However, the problem is that it's mainly performed using a table. While I use a table for most of my shows, every now and then I'm caught in a situation where it's either not practical to have a table present or for some reason or other a table isn't available. :P

A few years ago, I worked out this handling to perform this effect and I'm sharing the central move that makes it work here. Mind: you should already be familiar with the basic sandwich handlings; I only focus on that central move that makes this such a great effect for lay audiences.
