Sorry for the long blackout; things have been rough in the real life front. However, the good news is that things are moving forward at a positive pace. :)
I finally decided on the content I intend to use for the workshop; I'll be posting the details of that soon - I'll do an initial run of maybe 20 people (by invitation only). I'm still discussing the timing and pricing with a couple of close friends. Some of them feel that I should price it at $50; I think it might be a little too steep - probably going to go at a rate of $30 for a full day (6hour) workshop type thing as there's so much I want to cover. I've decided to pull out the REMEMBRANCE - I'm not ready to part ways with my method yet. Heh.
In other areas, I've started lessons at the Singapore Management University (night classes and all... sigh) and I hope to get my driver's license before this year ends.
More updates once I have paid for MORE webspace. :P Oh - and I'd really like to thank my buddy Kar Wee for helping me with a really nice writeup for my BIO. It's always so hard to write for oneself without sounding immodest (I'm not good at promoting myself...) |

I have set up a learning management system to deliver more structured content over the web. At the moment it's undergoing the test phase. It should be fully ready in a few months.
Feel free to go ahead and register an account and poke around. At the moment, there's only one course available to the public - the faro shuffle. I will be putting up more material over time (maybe once every few months). Some of it will be free and available to all registred users while others will only be available at a small fee.
All feedback is welcome! |

The final touches on the MOODLE facade is done! I wish I had the time to do it up a little more but for my purposes, it'll do. With the LMS (Learning Management System), I can provide a much more effective means of delivering 'virtual lessons'. :) |

A group of us were at the Adventist Home for the Elderly on 21 Feb to spread the Lunar New Year cheer.

The website seems pretty stable for now - most of the chinks have been ironed out in the CSS code. I had to do some modification of the PHP code in the file provided by Joomla, but by and large, I must say that this is one of the most impressive Content Management Systems I've used! It really makes content publishing a breeze. And the various levels in which I can control user access will allow me to deliver more selective content over this portal in the days to come.
I will be opening registrations to users soon where there will be more exclusive content for registered users as compared to the casual surfer... :P I still need webspace, so I'm hoping that I'd be able to upgrade to more webspace in the next few months. It's all work in progress and this is looking much better than I anticipated, so let's keep our fingers crossed! |
